About this program
The structure of the Automotive and Autonomous Vehicle Technology programme has been designed to expose you to the latest automotive technology and draws upon a number of areas across engineering including: engines, automation, control, vehicle dynamics, noise vibration and harshness (NVH) and advanced manufacture.
The University has strong links with industry covering companies that span the automotive supply chain. These links with industry have either come through collaborative R&D projects or through the commercial testing of products/ components. The knowledge gained through these engagements all feed into teaching and learning and contextualizing learning to real-world applications. The breadth of the content covered on this programme will provide you with the necessary skills to work within a wide range of areas within the automotive sector.
This course is available to study as both a BEng and a MEng. The BEng is taught over three years whereas the MEng is taught over four and you will graduate with both an undergraduate and postgraduate degree.
