Master in Industrial Engineering
The aim of the consecutive Master’s Degree course Industrial Engineering is to train university-educated professionals to become familiar with quality management and metrology and be able to deal with specific issues in production on-site and apply their quality management skills to various industrial segments. This study programme will provide students with not only theoretical and practical knowledge on this level but also adequate flexibility and understanding of engineering disciplines and a set of what is comprehensively referred to as soft skills.
The graduates will acquire knowledge of basic textile applications both in the area of classic technologies and in the areas related to new materials and advanced technologies. In the area of quality control, they will gain basic knowledge in quality assurance and its planning (quality control, assurance systems) including development trends. They are directed to analytical thinking so that they are able to evaluate risks by planning and implementing new products into production. They will be knowledgeable in the basis of legislation in the area of quality systems. They will be equipped with practical knowledge of data analysis. The aim of the study in this programme is to prepare graduates for positions that will require quality provision (e.g. quality manager) and for positions in company testing laboratories or metrological laboratories.
Since the TUL programmes are recognized by the European Federation of National Engineering Associations FEANI, alumni are eligible for the EUR ING title.
Admission requirements
Applicants interested in the masters in Industrial Engineering programme should meet the following requirements:
- Graduation from a relevant Bachelor's program (preferably related to textiles)
- Recognition (evaluation) of previous education (Bachelor)
- Stipulate grade average at university or passing an entrance examination
- Fluent English skills - level B1.
