About this program

MSc in Biomedical Engineering

The program provides the student with an Engineering education applied to the medical and biological environment, through deep basic and specialised training in biomedical topics. The educational program is intended to train students to design equipment, devices, materials, procedures and to develop and manage biomedical technologies in Companies and Health Structures. The peculiar multidisciplinary structure of the program allows developing a strong knowledge in electronics, informatics, mechanical, chemical, material engineering and it promotes the integration of technical studies with life science disciplines (biology, physiology and medicine).

The program has 5 suggested tracks (besides the possibility to develop a personal study plan):

  3. Cells, Tissue and Biotechnology

  5. Technologies for Electronics

Admission requirements

A Bachelor Degree in a related field.

Students With A University Qualification Obtained Outside Italy

Applicants to Master of Science programs are required to have a Bachelor Degree or be in the process of completing a Bachelor Degree. Admitted applicants will have to graduate before the enrollment.

Your undergraduate level program must contain subjects closely related to the MSc program you are applying to.

An English Or Italian Language Proficiency Certificate

If your bachelor Degree was taught in English, you may upload a document certified by your university attesting the teaching language instead of the language certificate.

Country-Specific Requirements Related To Your Degree

My experience here was great. I met many people, friends, professors, all of them were pretty good. The quality of the lessons and laboratories are good and also, the university campus is a nice place to have fun.
