Mechanical Engineering and Production Technology
Due to Coronavirus pandemic, HAMK has made it possible for new students to start their studies in the autumn as online studies from their home countries and arrive to Finland for on campus studies in January 2021. In addition, it is possible to pay the tuition fee in three installments.
Mechanical engineering is a constantly developing, versatile and modern science. In addition to traditional mechanics and machine building it also includes for example robotics, industrial internet And 3D scanning. Mechanical designing uses modern calculus, simulation and design software tools as well as automated production and manufacturing technologies when developing intelligent machines and equipment for the future needs.

Scholarships & funding
At HAMK we don’t offer any fully funded scholarship for undergraduate degree programmes. We offer our non-EU students scholarships based on learning the Finnish language. For undergraduate students we have two scholarships available, one for learning basic Finnish (A1) for 3200eur (Paid once, the earliest after the first academic year) and one for learning more advanced Finnish (B1) for 6500eur. If the student is awarded with Scholarship 1, they can be awarded with Scholarship 2 after the second academic year, at the earliest.
Tuition
There is no tuition fee Tuition Fee for non-EU/EEA students. The price for International students is 9700 EUR yearly.
