Master's Program in Energy Smart Innovation in the Built Environment

The Program focuses on the technology behind smart energy solutions in the built environment, and on principles for successful implementation of these solutions. Many courses contain larger projects where you work in close collaboration with regional construction and energy companies.

Admission requirements

Target Audience

Anyone with a Bachelor's degree in the relevant study area (see entry requirements) who wants to get engaged in solving one of the great challenges of our time creating urban environments which are sustainable over time when it comes to energy usage and supply.

Admission Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Building Technology, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent of 180 Swedish credit points or 180 ECTS credits at an accredited university. Including courses of 7.5 credits within the field of Building Technology, 7.5 credits Project Management, 7.5 credits Engineering Mechanics and 7.5 credits Applied Physics or the equivalent, and 22.5 credits Mathematics. Applicants must have written and verbal command of the English language equivalent to English course 6 (Swedish Upper-Secondary School).
