Master of Science Nanoscience (track of Applied Physics)
The Nanoscience track of the Applied Physics MSc programme covers new physics and examines novel principles in nanostructured devices with a new functionality. Nanostructures vary from superconductors to biopolymers and may either be obtained from nature or may be fabricated by means of bottom-up methods (starting with atoms or molecules) or top-down techniques (such as electron-beam lithography).
