Master of Science in Engineering and Policy Analysis

Engineering and Policy Analysis is an international programme for students with a background in a technology field. The ultimate objective of this specialisation is to improve the quality of decision making, policy and management.

The programme focuses on policy processes regarding large-scale technical systems for transport, telecommunication, industrial production, energy, and water management. EPA graduates possess knowledge of essential facts, concepts, principles and theories relevant to large-scale systems analysis and management, economics, and policy and decision-making.

The four main themes in the specialisation Engineering and Policy Analysis (EPA) are

- Policy Analysis
- Economics
- Systems Modelling
- Management

    Students will gain interdisciplinary knowledge and understanding of these themes, as well as developing their intellectual abilities and practical skills.

    In the master’s programme EPA students will be trained to become policy analysts, policy makers or policy implementers for a range of technology sectors.

    Admission requirements

    Main requirements:

    • A good university BSc degree in a main subject closely related to the MSc programme to which you are applying
    • A BSc Cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 75% of the scale maximum
    • Proof of English language proficiency

    Tuition

    Tuition fee for 2011-2012 academic year

    For students with EU/EFTA nationality or Surinamese nationality
    around € 1,713 per year (all programme)

    For students with non EU/EFTA nationality

    •                    all Bachelor's programmes € 8,000,- per year
    •                    all Master's programmes € 12,500,- per year 

    The various TU Delft joint programmes have their own individual tuition fees and Tuition fees for TU Delft’s programmes are reviewed annually

    You will need approximately € 1.500,- to cover initial settling-in expenses. The cost of living and study, including food, accommodation, transport, books, and obligatory health insurance is estimated to be between € 850 and € 1.100,- per month.
