From the exploration of the raw material, the chemical conversion in reactors, the design of the process units, to a complete production and assembly line of the end product Chemical Engineers are involved. Chemical engineering is an indispensable part of our lives. Throughout history man has used the knowledge of chemical engineering to make life more comfortable.

The World of NanoChemical Engineering: From Molecules to Products
New developments in the field of Chemical Engineering has resulted into more molecular oriented applications and research in the domain of NanoChemical Engineering. In the coming decade this accent will be more pronounced and will develop itself to a new domain  in which the link between molecular scale and product/process scale – including the re-use of the ‘molecules’ will be the focal point.
