The two key foci of this program are the following: the integration of environmental and ecological issues within the planning, design, operation and management of industrial and other technological processes; and the management, use, and protection of our natural environment which involves the control, treatment, remediation and risk assessment aspects of the solid, liquid and gaseous wastes associated with living in a modern society.
