University of Wales Trinity Saint David
About this program
Engineering: Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering (BEng)
The Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering programs are intended to provide students with a thorough grounding in mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering.
In addition, students will develop knowledge in a suitable range of manufacturing processes and materials. The programs will also consider environmental aspects of design and technology and will enable students to gain a range of skills, relevant to a broad range of employment opportunities.
A thorough understanding of automation, robotics, digital simulation and manufacturing concepts are also important if engineers are going to be able to deploy these advanced technologies to their full potential. These topics are covered in our program.
The university has a long and established record of developing graduates with expertise in mechanical and manufacturing disciplines.
Working closely with a number of local, national and international companies, this program has been designed to develop graduates that are well equipped to join a global community of Mechanical and Manufacturing engineers.
