MSc in Chemistry
The MSc in Chemistry is a full-time master’s program run by the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Pannonia. The Faculty offers postgraduate degree programs both at master's and doctoral levels.
Our program focuses strongly on research-based degrees and research findings are published in international journals of high impact.
The close ties with the bio- and chemical engineering departments of the University and with the Research Institute of Biomolecular and Chemical Engineering also add to the multidisciplinary nature of our chemistry teaching.

This two-year program is designed to give you a solid base in inorganic, organic, physical, and analytical chemistry at an advanced level. Apart from general subjects we offer specialised courses across the entire spectrum of chemistry, including:
- (In)organic synthesis
- Stereochemistry
- Spectroscopy
- Homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis
- Organometallic chemistry
- Separation science
- Molecular dynamics
- Quantum mechanics
- Green chemistry and materials chemistry
Besides, you can acquire basic knowledge on special subjects, such as bioprocessing, molecular biology or bionanotechnology. You also have the opportunity to tailor part of your studies according to your interests.
During the research project you can participate in high-level research. Our program focuses strongly on research-based degrees and research findings are published in international journals of high impact.

Tuition
Tuition fees for this program are €1500 per semester for EU students and €1900 per semester for non-EU students.
Continuing studies
The experience you gain during your studies provides direct access to PhD studies within the fields of organic, coordination, environmental, analytical or computational chemistry.
