Mechatronics MEng
The M.Eng in Mechatronics is a one year, full-time program and the mode of operation is based on the modular system. It consist of a taught component extending over two semesters, with a Mechatronics project taken over a third semester. The project presents a piece of significant original work with high analytical content.
Admission requirements
Applicants for a Master’s programme must normally have a first or second class Level 8 honours degree (NFQ or other internationally recognised equivalent) in a relevant or appropriate subject, or equivalent prior learning* that is recognised by the University as meeting this requirement. Applicants must also satisfy the English Language Requirements of the University. The University reserves the right to shortlist and interview applicants as deemed necessary.
*Completion of 240 ECTS/four years of a relevant five year undergraduate programme consisting of 300 ECTS from an European University or equivalent institution.
Applicants who do not meet the requirements above may be considered under the University of Limerick policy that allows for the recognition of Prior Learning, both formal and informal/experiential learning; non-accredited personal and professional education; work based training and employment experience.
