Master's Degree in Intelligent Systems and Numerical Applications in Engineering
The masters degree in Smart Systems and Numerical Applications in Engineering is an official qualification linked to lines of research developed at the SIANI University Institute. Therefore, it is a qualification that introduces the student to the bases and foundations of cutting-edge areas such as the computational modelling and numerical simulation of engineering problems, the use and development of smart and autonomous systems, and analysis and data interpretation methods, among others. Given its research-based approach, this qualification equips the student with the skills and tools necessary for him or her to start out in R+D activities, and it also constitutes a qualification that grants access to the PhD in Telecommunications Technologies and Computational Engineering.
In order to access a Master’s degree at ULPGC, students must comply with the general conditions required in the Royal decree-law 861/2010 of July 2nd, article 16:
- In order to access official Master's degree courses, students must hold an official Spanish university degree or any other issued by a higher education institution of the European Higher Education Area. This degree must entitle them to access Master's degree courses in their country of origin.
- Likewise, graduates from educational systems outside the European Higher Education Area may gain access without the need to have their qualifications validated. ULPGC will simply verify that their degree entitles them to access Master's degree courses in their country of origin. In this case, students will not be required to homologate their diploma.
For all Master’s Degrees, it is advisable to have a B2 level of Spanish.
