Civil Engineering
The objective of the civil engineering major is to foster students with high-level applicative talents who have comprehensive quality in the domain of humanity and science. The graduates will have a solid foundation for specialty knowledge and will have the creative ability to fulfill the requirement of engineering practice in the future. After learning the fundamental principles and gaining knowledge in the discipline of civil engineering as a qualified engineer, the graduates will be cultivated to be competent for professional positions in construction, structural design, engineering investigation, management, engineering consulting, education, research and development in the engineering fields of civil architecture, highway, bridge, and tunnel as well as railway.

The available scholarships are as follows:
I. Chinese Government Scholarship
- Bilateral Program Supporting Categories: Chinese Government Scholarship programs sponsor international students, teachers and scholars to undertake degree studies (bachelor, master and PhD) and Chinese language study or academic research in institutions of higher education in China.
- Scholarship: Scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, medical insurance and living allowance. Applicants should apply to the dispatching authorities for overseas study in their home countries between January and early April. Please contact the dispatching authorities for the specific deadline of each year.
- Chinese University Program Supporting Categories: Doctorate and Masters Candidates.
- Scholarship: Scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, medical insurance and living allowance.
- Application Receiving Agency and Deadline: Applicants should send us application materials to ujnglobal@qq.com from 20th February to 15th April.
- Scholarship for Exchange students from Europe and U.S. Supporting Categories: exchange students Scholarship: Scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, medical insurance and living allowance. Application Receiving Agency and Deadline Applicants should send us application materials to ujnglobal@qq.com before Oct. 10th (for study in Fall semester) or December 15th (for study in Spring semester).
II. Confucius Institute Scholarship
- Programs: Bachelor degree of TCSOL (Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages); Chinese Language and culture (one-academic-year or one-semester programs)
- Scholarship: Scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, medical insurance and 2500 RMB per month of living allowance.
- Application: Please refer to CIS Scholarship Website http://cis.chinese.cn or contact CCNU
- Applicants: Currently enrolled students in Confucius Institutes
- Application Deadline: Applicants should upload application materials to http://cis.chinese.cn/ from January to November.
III. Shandong Provincial Government Scholarship
- Program Supporting Categories: Masters Candidates, or Bachelor Candidates in Chinese instruction.
- Scholarship: Scholarship covers registration, tuition, accommodation, medical insurance, a monthly stipend of CNY 1,200 for graduate students, CNY1,000 for undergraduate’s students.
- Application Deadline: Applicants should send us application materials to ujnglobal@qq.com from 10th, March to 30th, May.
- Language Requirements: HSK 4 for bachelor degree, HSK 5 for master degree.
IV. Jinan International Sister Cities Scholarship
- Supporting Categories: all programs including language and degree programs.
- Scholarship: Scholarship generally covers tuition, and medical insurance, please consult the International Affairs Office of your local municipal government for other details.
- Applicants: The scholarship is specially offered to students from Jinan International Sister Cities, and is recommended by the local International Affairs Office of the home country.
V. UJN President Scholarship
- Supporting Categories: Doctorate and Masters Candidates
- Doctorate Candidates: Scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, medical insurance and living allowance CNY2000.
- Master Candidates: Scholarship covers tuition, accommodation and medical insurance.

VI. UJN “Belt & Road” Undergraduate Scholarship
- Supporting Categories: Bachelor Degree Candidates.
- Scholarship: Scholarship covers 50% tuition and 50% accommodation.
- Application Deadline: Applicants should send us application materials to ujnglobal@qq.com from 10th, March to 30th, May.
Tuition
This cost of this program is RMB 20,000.
Qualification
Upon completion of this program, graduates will be awarded a Bachelor of Engineering.
