Biomedical Engineering
The Department of Biomedical Engineering offers the MSc degree. Completion of the degree requires three graduate-level courses (two offered by the Department plus one from another department) and a research thesis that must be defended and presented in a public seminar. The normal time for completion of the degree is 2-3 years. The Department requires that all MSc students receive financial support.The University offers the Individual Interdisciplinary Studies Program in which a student may receive a degree from two departments, that of the Department of Biomedical Engineering and a second appropriate department. In general, this Program requires additional course work and a supervisor from each department (called co-supervisors).
