Master's Degree in Microbiology
The program consists of four modules. The first is dedicated to the fundamental aspects of the modern techniques of study and characterization of materials as well as its synthesis. The second is an experimental block orientated to either nanotechnology or photonics. In the third block, the student has the opportunity to choose 3 out of 8 courses, to direct his education in a area of his interest, which can be applied in the last block: the Master thesis, which consists of an experimental work in one of the research laboratories of the University, Research Institutes on the campus or industry.
It is compulsory to comply with the general entry requirements established for all the master’s programmes developed in UAM:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree.
- To people from outside the European Community it is compulsory, at least, an accreditation about similar level of the studies pursued regarding to European bachelor’s studies.
Concerning to specific conditions of Master’s Degree in Biology, Environmental Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Veterinary or other related bachelor’s studies shall be required.
