Disaster Risk Management and Climate Governance (Spanish)

You will be able to have knowledge and skills for applied research and the management of instruments and tools for disaster risk management and climate governance. Preparation, review or evaluation of technical studies, diagnoses, projects, programs, measures or initiatives of risk management and climate governance. Development of mitigation and adaptation strategies. Advice and consultancy. Official of public entities or private companies with specialized or teaching knowledge.

Training of professionals with knowledge and skills for applied research, and the management of instruments and tools for disaster risk management and climate governance, facilitating an approach to the interventions and needs of global climate governance, which is related according to the IPCC with voluntary mechanisms and measures aimed at directing social systems towards the prevention or mitigation of climate change risks, or Adaptation to them (Jagers and Steripple, 2005, in IPCC Glossary).
