Nuclear Engineering
The Department's graduate research programme is closely affiliated with and supported by numerous DND agencies and directorates. Many thesis topics are offered as a result of this collaboration and are arranged between the sponsor and the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
Some areas of graduate research in nuclear engineering are radiochemistry and neutron activation analysis, radiation effects on materials, neutron radiography and radioscopy, artificial intelligence applications to nuclear systems, health physics and radiation protection, nuclear accident response and many others.
