The Automotive Undercar Specialist certificate/degree preparesstudents to apply technical knowledge related to service,diagnosis and repair of; Braking, Steering, and Suspensionsystems found on modern automobiles. Emphasis placedon hydraulics, wheel alignment, and vibration correctionprocedures. Antilock brakes, traction control, vehicle stabilitycontrol, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) arecovered.

The Associate of Science Degree in Welding Technologywill be awarded upon completion of the degree requirements,including general education and other graduation requirementsas described in the college catalog

  • Utilize common shop equipment to correct wheelalignment and vibration concerns.
  • Demonstrate ability to test and diagnose electronicsuspension, steering, and braking systems found onmodern automobiles.
