You will undertake a course of study which will consist of thesis courses totalling 120 credits.
The Master of Engineering will be awarded with a subject which follows the name of a major in the Bachelor of Engineering with Honours degree.
Distinction or Merit
Your 120 credit master's degree will carry the award of Distinction, if completed at a superior standard (equivalent to First Class Honours), or Merit (equivalent to Second Class Honours, Division One) if completed within one year of first enrolling in full-time study.
Students enrolling in a thesis commence with part one followed by part two in the next enrolment period. Both parts combine to meet the thesis requirements with a single grade assigned to each part. If the thesis cannot be submitted at the end of the initial part two enrolment, the student must re-enrol in part two (and pay fees) each semester until submission is made, unless you meet the criteria for an extension.
