Data communications - Get hands on skills around maintaining Cisco CCNA networking, telecommunications and computer programming systems.
This qualification has been developed to meet international benchmarks for engineering technicians. The aim of the New Zealand Diploma in Engineering is to provide skilled and competent engineering technicians specialised in mechanical for the New Zealand engineering sector. Graduates will be capable of operating at a technician level scope of practice as outlined by the Dublin Accord (International Engineering Alliance, 2002).

Successful completion of your first semester in the New Zealand Diploma of Engineering (Level 6) with a required grade point average of B can provide direct entry to Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Level 7).
