London Metropolitan University

Based in England’s historic capital city, London Metropolitan University has a rich history of education with its roots dating back to 1848. Taking its current form following a merger of two well-renowned universities in 2002, it offers a wide range of courses across two London campuses.

The Aldgate campus is home to the university’s architecture, art and design courses, with all other subjects being taught at the Islington campus (opposite Holloway road tube station). Subject Matters: Inclusion in Education

Our Subject Matters series consists of a set of taster talks delivered by our current students on a topic related to their degree. This session will focus on Inclusion in Education: Applying the Capability Approach to Improve the Well-Being of Children and Young People (CYP) with Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND) in UK Schools.

We will provide prospective students with a 60 minute interactive session where the presenter of the session will share engaging and informative insights about their course as well as lots of other helpful information about the university.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions live, during the event, and our presenters and UK Recruitment team will be on hand to answer your queries. This session will be the beginning of our latest series, please keep your eyes peeled for more sessions which will be announced in the coming months!
