Master Chemical and Bioengineering

Understanding Large Scale Chemical Production and Creating Molecules

The molecular sciences research their structure and their formation in nature. However, they also deal with the products and chemical processes in our industrial society, from the manufacture of a drug to environmental technology processing.

Structure

The Master’s degree program includes compulsory lectures in the core subject areas of Bioengineering, Catalysis, Process Design, and Polymers, plus a range of electives. Case studies, a research project or an industry internship and a five-month Master’s thesis familiarize students with research work on current subjects.

To complete their training a majority of graduates in these disciplines progress to a doctoral program.
