Zero Defect Manufacture for a Circular Economy
“Zero Defect Manufacture for a Circular Economy” a Master of Science double degree programme of 120 ECTS, to be completed in two years at two different Universities. The programme combines technical courses (60 ECTS) about manufacturing science physics of equipment and processes, data analytics, considering the methodology to use gained process data in the context of process quality, and process management, as well as the flexibility enabled for smaller lot production and for the circular economy. The programme includes Innovation & Entrepreneurship courses, also to explore sustainability and societal impact of technology and business aspects, and a dedicated Summer School, to be attended between first and second year, for a total of 30 ECTS. International academic mobility in two different universities and real work experience through internships, industrial challenge-based thesis at company premises (30 ECTS), complete the offer.

Who can apply?
The specific admission requirements for the “Zero Defect Manufacture for a Circular Economy” education are B.Sc. degree in:

- Information Technology,
- Industrial Engineering.
Students should have basic competence in engineering analysis, programming, and mathematics including calculus, algebra, and mathematical statistics.
How can you apply?
The academic year starts between August and October depending on each university calendar.
Application deadlines:
- 1st November – 1st February (recommended for NOT EU/EFTA applicants that must apply for a VISA to study in Europe)
- 2nd February – 31st March
Non-EU citizens are fully responsible to get their visa for each entry and exit university in time for the starting of the academic year.

What are the available study paths?
The programme is organized in two years, where the first year is delivered by an entry university and the second year by an exit university. The combination of entry and exit university are called student study path.

Tuition
- Tuition fees for EU/EFTA citizens: 8,000 EUR per year
- Tuition fees for Non-EU/EFTA citizens: 15,000 EUR per year
Qualification
At the end of their studies the students get:
- 2 Master of Science Degrees (issued by the entry and exit universities)
- An EIT Label Certificate, that awards the quality of their high education
Continuing studies
The degrees also grant you the eligibility for post graduate doctoral studies, eventually to be done at EIT Manufacturing Doctoral School.
Career paths
The EIT Manufacturing Master School will prepare you for high level technical positions, Innovation roles and business profiles, including the capability to create your own start-up.
