Ingénieur Polytechnicien Program
École Polytechnique's Ingénieur Polytechnicien Program is a unique four-year program that includes three years where students obtain an engineering degree and an additional one year to earn École Polytechnique’s Diploma. This four-year curriculum provides students with:
- A multidisciplinary scientific training that gives students a broad scientific base (basic sciences, engineering sciences, social economics).
- Human, military and sports training that allows students to develop their behavioral and relational skills.
- Specialized courses with advanced scientific concentrations that rival the top engineering schools worldwide.
Admission requirements
In order to be admitted to the Ingénieur Polytechnicien Program, applicants need to pass an entrance examination in two steps: admissibility and then admission.

Tuition
All full-time Ingénieur Polytechnicien international students are required to pay tuition fees for the entire duration of their studies. Students who repeat a full year of study will also be required to pay the applicable full-time tuition fees for the repeated year.
Tuition fees for non-French students entering the Ingénieur Polytechnicien Program in 2019:
EU students: €19,000 for 3 years
Year 1: €3,500
Year 2: €7,750
Year 3: €7,750
Non-EU students: €38,000 for 3 years
Year 1: €7,000
Year 2: €15,500
Year 3: €15,500
For Year 4, students can choose to study for a 1- or 2-year Master’s degree in France or abroad, in which case, if there are tuition fees, they are to be paid directly to the host institution.
