École Polytechnique's Ingénieur Polytechnicien Program is a unique four-year program that includes three years where students obtain an engineering degree and an additional one year to earn École Polytechnique’s Diploma. This four-year curriculum provides students with:

Admission requirements

In order to be admitted to the Ingénieur Polytechnicien Program, applicants need to pass an entrance examination in two steps: admissibility and then admission.

Tuition

All full-time Ingénieur Polytechnicien international students are required to pay tuition fees for the entire duration of their studies. Students who repeat a full year of study will also be required to pay the applicable full-time tuition fees for the repeated year.

Tuition fees for non-French students entering the Ingénieur Polytechnicien Program in 2019:

EU students: €19,000 for 3 years
Year 1: €3,500
Year 2: €7,750
Year 3: €7,750

Non-EU students: €38,000 for 3 years
Year 1: €7,000
Year 2: €15,500
Year 3: €15,500

For Year 4, students can choose to study for a 1- or 2-year Master’s degree in France or abroad, in which case, if there are tuition fees, they are to be paid directly to the host institution.
