This Master is internationally recognized and accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education. The quality of its courses has been recognized in the prestigious Eramsus Mundus framework of the European Commission.
This Master is concerned with the application of mechanics, mathematics, and numerical methods in the practice of modern engineering for structural mechanics applications.
Language of teaching
Courses fully taught in English during the two years.
Objectives
This Master is aimed at students who wish to deepen their skills in modelling and numerical simulation of mechanical methods, both fluid and solid. The course covers the modelling of comlex mechanical systems involving a possible coupling of different pohysics at different scales.
In more general terms, the course provides with solid training in advanced techniques in scientific disciplines for the modelling of engineering problems.
Laboratories
This Master "Computational Mechanics" relies on the staff members and on the scientific and research facilities of the GeM "Institut de Recherche en Génie Civil et Mécanique".
Companies
The classes are closely related to current scientific issues and harness the expertise of a teaching team in direct contrat with industry.
EDF (power supplier), PSA (car manufacturer), SNECMA (aircraft engine manufacturer)
