Science and Technology of Bio and Nanomaterials
If you are interested in nanotechnologies, then this programme provides you with a strong multidisciplinary training in material science, chemistry and biology that will allow you to become an expert in the design and synthesis of new bio/nanomaterials. The programme pairs lectures and laboratory classes that teach you how to prepare bio/nanomaterials, exploring their chemical-physical characteristics, properties, methods of preparation and applications. During your studies, you are given the chance to carry out an internship and learn on the job at research laboratories and companies both in Italy and abroad. Thanks to the skills and knowledge you gain from this master’s degree, you will be able to work in the technical sectors of companies that produce, market, transform or develop materials, or further your education with a doctoral degree.

In order to make the choice of studying at Ca’ Foscari more affordable, the university offers high-achieving students the following forms of financial assistance:
• renewable fee waivers
• one-time scholarships of €5,000
For the 2019/20 academic year, 100 fee waivers and 90 scholarships were available. If you choose to apply for one or both options, you will be compared to other applicants and ranked according to various factors, including your overall academic average. Once enrolled, students from low-income families can also request financial aid from the regional government.

Qualification
