About this program
The School of Chemical Engineering & Environment (SCEE) was founded in 1940 and is one of the earliest founded schools of BIT. SCEE has research institutes such as the Research Center of Power Battery and Chemical Power Materials, and offers the national key discipline of Applied Chemicals.
SCEE has a research group: Changjiang Innovation Group and is headed by Professor Wu Feng. Their fundamental research of "multi-use batteries and related power materials" and has been introduced into the industry.
CESS had established many co-operative relationships with the world's leading universities regarding academic exchange, staff training and co-operative research programs. SCEE also had been devoted to sending and receiving many visiting-scholars and exchange-scholars with other universities all over the world, such as the USA, UK, Germany, France, and Italy.

Students will study disciplines such as the principles of chemical engineering, chemical machinery and equipment, measurement technology for processing parameters, and process control principles.
