Computer Systems Engineering MEng
This course covers both the hardware and software engineering aspects of the discipline. During the degree you will gain extensive practical experience and we provide good access to interactive computer services. The MEng involves study for an extra year and provides a more in-depth study of the subject.
Accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.

Admission requirements
For 2020 entry:
Typical offer is based on a minimum 120 tariff points for MEng from a Level 3 qualification* e.g.:
- A Levels (including a C grade in Maths and a grade C in Physics or Electronics)
- International Baccalaureate Diploma (including H5 in Maths and Physics)
- BTEC National/Extended Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering: DMM for MEng. Similar subject areas may be considered on a case by case basis.
- City & Guilds Advanced Technical Extended Diploma in Engineering: Distinction
- Access: Pass (considered case by case)
- Welsh Baccalaureate is accepted
- Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma in Engineering: DMM for MEng.
International Candidates: school leaving qualifications and college diplomas are accepted from countries worldwide (subject to minimum English Language requirements).
